Beware the beer guarantee!
Bought several items before deploying for 3+ months. One item was defective upon delivery. Didn't have time to return before leaving the country. No indication it mattered. When I returned home, tried to get shirt replaced. Was going to cost me $9.99 after I called company. I asked why. Was told that after 30 days beer guarantee kicks in and I'm sh! T out of luck unless I want to pay $9.99 to send in shirt. Neck was not sewn to the front of the shirt body. Pretty crappy construction. Called customer service many times, ran it up the chain to supervisor, all said I'm dead in the water even though product delivered defective. I mentioned that the paper that comes with package makes no mention of the 30 day window, nor does the website under customer service. I told them I thought these were deceptive practices after the company told me that this exception was not listed anywhere…only internal policy. Bottom line: I'm not spending good money after bad…$10 to send in a crappy shirt that came to me defective when the shirt cost less than $20. However, the lack of owning up to a defective product outside of their internal policy, lack of support for the veterans they are supposed to be supporting, and lack of transparency on the 30 free return policy for defective merchandise cause me to rescind my support for this company. The way I was treated on the phone and in email was abominable. I'm done with this company. Beware their veteran friendly reputation! Since then, I've had two other shirts separate at the collar, but I'm not going to bother. Just beware of low quality product. If you wear these and wash these, you WILL be spending money to send your items back. RIP, Grunt Style.
